You probably know by now that I am all about the music. So I thought I would start a music favourites every two months, sharing with you the tracks I’ve been feeling and listening to the most over the previous months.
Monthly Music Favourites | March 2017
March has consisted of finding some new bands, which I love to do but go through phases of actually doing, as well as getting in the mood for Slam Dunk and summer now the sun has decided to make an appearance and I finally bought my ticket.
I’ve been vibing a lot more upbeat, catchy songs this month, with a lot more rock than metalcore bands. These include the likes of Deaf Havana, You Me At Six and Neck Deep. I’ve also been listening to a lot of I Prevail, as they’re the band I’m most looking forward to seeing at Slam Dunk, and even a little bit of Don Broco, who I don’t usually like. I started using Spotify this month which has also got me checking out a lot of bands that I have been meaning to for a while like Too Close To Touch, Memphis May Fire and Ice Nine Kills.
I finally got round to properly checking out the awesome Our Hollow Our Home who I saw live once and only listened to a little after. They recently released their album Hartsick which is really good. And I’m a fan of the new While She Sleeps song featuring Oli Sykes.
Most played song this month: Give – You Me At Six
I hope you enjoy the first monthly favourites playlist. Let me know your thoughts on my choices and leave a comment of what you’ve been loving this month as I’m definitely in the mood to discover something new!
You can also follow me on Spotify to keep up to date with what I’m listening to, and for more playlists.
Thanks for reading, and go rock out. April
